Since I live far away from most of my family members it has been much easier to just update my blog rather than sending our emails to my family and friends. I truly believe that anyone can build their own website, but a blog software like Wordpress just makes it easier. You can still customize the design of your site by adding custom header graphics and altering the CSS files that go with it.
