DotEasy would have to be anything BUT easy. They are completely unprofessional, charge you $10 to transfer a domain name, and give absolutely no customer service. I would suggest people NOT use this service AT ALL, unless they are happy to hand out cash to an uncaring organisation that has no idea on how to treat people. It`s only a matter of time before this organisation comes down into a screaming heap with all the bad publicity they seem to generate for themselves. Doteasy Review

I was trying to set up mac mail to use my dot easy mail as the outgoing mail provider. I`m not sure why it didn`t work, but I tried calling my service provider ATT/SBC Global and they spent over an hour of my time with bad help and finally told me I had to upgrade to a more expensive business plan in order to use mac mail and a 3rd party mail server. I didn`t trust the advice from them, because the guy on the phone seemed like an idiot. When I sent an email to support at doteasy they sent one back and after following their instruction it worked fine. without having to upgrade to an expensive business plan like ATT help said. Been using DotEasy $0 Dollar hosting for over 8 years and have no complaints. Quite a robust control panel, tons of options and features, free private registration even on the $0 dollar plan. The $0 Dollar plan ($25.00 a year for registration and hosting) is great for a novice. Look at them around holidays -- they often offer substantial discounts for the first year. Have also had other DotEasy hosting plans and was also quite satisfied. Though now that I have a virtual server elsewhere, it became more efficent to host databases there. Nonetheless, for ease of setting up domains I still maintain about a half dozen DotEasy domains, partially for sentimental reasons -- they were my first ;) I saw an ad in the paper magazine Computer User to many years ago and tried them out. We have had a total of 5 websites with Doteasy over the last 5 years---three of them are still live while the other two were used for bed and breakfasts which we have now sold. Any questions are handled promptly and professionally. Recently, I wasn`t able to respond to Doteasy within what was a very reasonable deadline (I was out of the country). They assumed that I wished to continue an account and made a charge against my credit card. When I came home I asked for a refund and it was promptly arranged.
