Comments: My friend invited me signup Globat with coupon free 1 year. I signed up and received a confirm call. The billing called and tell me that my account will be verify. I logged in and tried some tours with Control Panel but it was disabled after 10 minutes. I goto livechat with supports, he told me with no fair words. I was angry with that attitude and required to cancel my order. After that I received an email confirm that a cancellation was made. Today I check my statement and see they charged $1 from my credit card. $1 is nothing but that is not fairplay. They are GloBAD (is this scam?) Careful if you devide use sevice with this company.

Comments: Globat.com has cost me more money than any company I have ever had to deal with. Signing up with Globat basically means they can take money from your account whenever they deem necessary. I`ll start with the Automatic Upgrades which if you`re not consistently checking your email that you registered with, they have these automatic upgrades which you have to opt-out of or they will automatically charge your account for upwards of 50 dollars for upgrade, and they come constantly! I`ve asked several times to opt-out of the opt-out upgrades, and they never let me. And trying to get a refund is an even bigger hassle. At one point I threatened them, and the best they could do was a refund check in the mail several months later. After much struggle with Globat... I finally decided to cancel my account, in which I called, asked them to cancel everything. They agreed. But two months later, I am still getting charged, and they are refusing refunds. Now I have to report my credit card stolen, just to get away from this company!!! I do not suggest Globat web hosting to anyone. If you try to part with them, it will be completely one way, meaning you leave their services but they continue to take your money! My rating = E product, e service. Do not waste your time!

Comments: Globat is dreadful. Really. It`s like being trapped in a house of horrors. They sneak in “automatic” upgrades for fees of $30 to $50. They say that they are doing their customers a favor by not bothering them with need to take any action to agree to the upgrade. Unless you read their e-mail notification (you`ll get just one) and click on the opt-out link, you’ll find your credit card whacked for $29.99, $39.99 or $49.99. (I clicked on the link and got whacked anyway because I had to do a separate opt-out for each domain that I had at Globat, even though they were all in the same account.) If you want to opt out fo their automatic renewals, good luck. I finally told my credit card company that I would not accept any more charges from Globat. That did the trick. Canceling was another awful experience, but it was made easier because I had never registered any domains with Globat. Stay away!

Comments: Globat is not recommendable. Globat webhosting had extremely positive reviews when I was looking out to buy web hosting services. I got a good deal with mailin rebates and was happy. But that is the last time I felt happy abt them. The mailing rebate communication has been going on since I bought and has not been paid. Everytime the courteous customer support execs create a new ticket and no one knows what is the history of communication with customer. Basically the support has no idea what is going on. They are quite courteous though. But does that solve problem ? The over all support is also quite mediocre. I am not at all impressed by the service and will not recommend.
