WordPress Web HostingBlogging has become very popular amongst internet users. Whether you are wanting to build a personal blog, educational blog, or business blog you should compare WordPress to others. This article will review the pros and cons of WordPress blogging.
One of the most popular forms of websites today are blogs or web logs. They are simply online journals that allow users to create pages using a simple web based software. One of the most popular blogging companies on the web is WordPress. Their easy to use blogware let's you choose a unique template design and you can have your blog up and running in minutes. For a FREE account hosted by wordpress you just have to signup on their website. I have been testing their blog software for the past year or so with my personal website about my family life in rural Utah. Wordpress was included for free with my web hosting account from StartLogic.com. It was included as one of their one-click software installs when I signed up for a year of web hosting. After installing it and choosing a username and password I was off and running. It was so easy to use that I made the blog software run my entire site, instead of just having a separate blog section. Adding links to other websites and blogs I visit was a breeze. It even has an option in the setting menu to change the link structure to make it more Google friendly and easier for the search engines to spider the pages. Since I live far away from most of my family members it has been much easier to just update my blog rather than sending out emails to my family and friends. They enjoy the fact that they can see what me and my family have been up to just by bookmarking and checking my blog. I truly believe that anyone can build their own website, but a blog software like Wordpress just makes it easier. You can still customize the design of your site by adding custom header graphics and altering the CSS files that go with it. I was able to add a custom header to my site that I created in photoshop without this article has all rights reserved and is copyright by 100 Best any problems. I would recommend this software to anyone. I have tried others that are equally as easy to use but so far Wordpress is my favorite. I have a new blog that discusses wordpress tips exclusively. Check it out and let me know your thoughts. Most web hosting companies include WordPress with their hosting packages free of charge. It is part of the popular Fantastico software bundle that is popular with Cpanel hosts. Others like DreamHost and Startlogic include Wordpress as part of their own web hosting control panels. If you don't need hosting or your own domain you get just signup at www.WordPress.com Related Article: Content Management Systems - CMS >> FREE WEB HOSTING GLOSSARY TERMS
