Intuit Web Hosting Reviews and Ratings by UsersOur Intuit Review

Host Name: Intuit Comments: Not so good. There are cheaper and better web hosting companies out there. The biggest problem is when you go to delete your site and stop the service. They require you to call to terminate the service. But you can`t get through. You hold for ridiculous periods of time trying to get someone to stop your service. I have even tried to email Intuit asking for them to end the service and still no response. I can only assume it is a gimmick to get your money. If you can`t stop the service they will charge your account. Another issue is visibility. I search for days to try to get my site to pop up on a search. It never did. I found later that you have to pay another $15 per month for your site to be found on a web search.(Thats $20 per month for their basic service) All in all, the cost of Intuits free for one month web hosting, is more expensive than other web hosting companies, and they offer fewer amenities.

Host Name: Intuit Comments: BEWARE HATEFULL PEOPLE WORKING AT THIS COMPANY. TAKES ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO WAIT FOR HELP MY BATTERY GOES DIED WAITING FOR SOOOO LONG. WHEN THEY FINALLY ANSWERE YOUR CALL THEN THEY TURN INTO SNOPS. NOT GOOD BUSINESS WAY TO BE SORRY INTUIT BUT THERE ARE OTHER SITES BESIDES YOURS BE ALOT KINDER....

Host Name: Intuit Comments: Intuit draws you in with the $4.99 low price a month then springs an additional fee of $29.00 monthly rate if you are selling products from your website. Just FOUL!!! Be up front with your fees Intuit. I would at least respect that and may become a customer.

Host Name: Intuit Comments: Just cancelled with them. They are not up front about fees. I have already been charged and it has only been 5 days and I haven`t even published yet!!30 day free trial is a joke. Their templates are very generic and the program crashes constantly! I went on there website to maybe switch to another template. They do NOT tell you that if you switch templates you lose ALL your work! 5 solid days of work gone!!! Beware, if you choose this company.....

Host Name: Intuit Comments: The problem with Intuit is that they require a credit card before you can even check out the `free trial` and my personal experience with this type of `free offer` requiring a credit card is never good. I have no doubt they lose far more business than they gain with such a user unfriendly policy.
Reviewer Name: Liza
Host Name: Intuit Comments: This was the worst experience I`ve ever had. They crashed my website and were unable to restore it without any explanations! Bottom line is the customer support is useless (they read off of scripts) and no one knows how to help you. They give you the runaround and I would never ever trust them with any aspect of my business again.

Host Name: Intuit Comments: terrible. rude. ask private question instead of supporting to build web site. don`t choose them. you will be angry. it is the worst experience in my life i chose them. |
