Our New Web Hosting Survey is designed for you, our visitors, to get involved in letting us know what is of interest to you. We will then post the results of the web hosting survey and use the information to provide you with the tools you are looking for.

These web hosting surveys will be posted monthly to this article.  Through these surveys you will be able to participate in determining the contents of our site; by sharing your interests and opinions on what is important to you when choosing a web host, creating a website, making money online, running an online business etc...

Survey #1 - 04/12/2011 - What do you look for when choosing or changing web hosting companies?

Our Survey Results are in for Survey #1!! - Thank you to all of those who participated!

The question and possible answers for survey number one were:

Which of the following web hosting tools or features do you feel is most important when searching for a new web host provider?

• Social Networking Tools

• Marketing Tools

• Website Statistics and Data Tracking

• E-commerce Solutions

• Search Engine Optimization Tools

• Live Customer Support

• Other (Please Specify)

According to our survey results the most important web hosting tool that our visitors are looking for when selecting a web hosting provider is: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Tools. Search engine optimization tools received 21% of all votes with the second most popular answer being: Social Networking Tools. The rest of the results were all pretty close with 15% of the votes coming in for E-commerce tools, definitely the most important thing for those trying to make money online through a business website. Live Customer Support was next with 14% of the votes and Marketing Tools and Website Statistics and Data Tracking coming in as our 5^th most popular response. Both of these options received 13% of the votes.

From the users that chose "Other" as their choice the most popular responses were Price and Ease of Building a Website.
